Ginger House Menue

It's been a while since Antrim became large enough to warrant its own Chinese restaurant (you know, where you get one for every 2,500 people...that's why Hillsborough...just north of us...gets 3)--but clearly it's hard to make a living off fortune cookies in our town so we are now at our third incarnation in the same location. The latest version is called "Ginger House Asian Cuisine Restaurant," and my wife and I visited it on a "date" today. Short version: pretty darn good...

Winding down PDF Print Email

Sure...I'm going to gain an extra hour of sleep tonight...but I really should be going to sleep. However, after I've been on the computer, especially post-programming, it's hard for me to wind down. And since that coding was on metaWeblogApi, all the harder to go to sleep when I can test it with an iPhone blogging program.

The picture included in this post is how I started my day...with some quality time with the cutest little boy in the universe...

Augie's first haircut

Earlier today I was able to join Augie for a rite of passage. Although folks will probably curse mom and me for allowing his traffic-stopping blonde curls to be cut, I was glad to be witness to Augie's first haircut.

He did pretty well...a bit nervous the whole time, but only crying at the end...and strangely enough...much of the time afterward that he waited for daddy to get his haircut.

Clouds through an airplane window

Often on flights I catch-up on my Bible reading...although there are days like this where the pressures of work can make it so my mind drifts and I have to re-read sections if I really want to gain from Scripture.

Snow Returns

Although it will not last...here is Antrim's first accumulation of snow since we escaped the previous winter. It is actually piling up reasonably quickly...we'll now see how my Nissan Cube does on the road with a little slick-stuff impeding progress. (Concord, here I come!)

I'm just glad I don't have to break-out the snow-blower. :-)
